Footwear
For those of you wearing heels: There will be a short walk from the bus to the venue on a pebbly path and the ceremony and recepcion will take place in a garden area. There will also be a short pebbly walk to the dancing area after lunch. Feel free to bring comfortable shoes to change in to for later on as you will be dancing in a garden. We also have those little plastic stoppers for high heels available.
Food
Main meal will be meat (chicken), fish (shellfish) or vegetarian (also vegan) served with rice and some vegetables.
Outfit
If you want to get out of your more formal wedding clothes after lunch you are welcome to get changed in the villa where the wedding will be held. We recommend you bring a festival-esque outfit to look fabulous and feel comfy.
Entertainment
There will be entertaiment and music until late. Enjoy it like you would a festival.
Around 10-11pm more food will come out in the style of traditional Spanish resopón (a buffett of “soak up alcohol” food that everybody helps themselves to).
At 12am, midnight, the first bus will return to Valencia and drop guests off back at Mestalla and San Agustín Church. There will be another bus departing at 3am for those of you that wish to enjoy the DJ and dance for a little bit longer.
Taxi
If you wish to leave before the first bus, we have contacts for two taxi companies:
– Javi Taxi Valencia: +34 600 87 98 74
– Servicio taxis Cheste: +34 605 68 47 33
Anybody who has not caught either of the buses will be staying the night at the villa or will need to arrange a taxi.
Please note we will be in a rural area outside of Valencia and getting a taxi in the early hours might be difficult.
Overnight stay
For all guests staying the night pack your bikini as we will be having a pool party on Sunday.
Sunday 8th October
For all surviving guests that are staying at the wedding villa or Makycamp we will nurse our hangovers by the pool and ensure all the wedding alcohol has been finished. Don’t forget to bring your bikinis if you are staying the night!
A H&H BBQ (Hotdog and hamburger barbeque) will be arranged for lunch courtesy of Makyfest.
All guests that are staying in Valencia but would like to attend the Sunday pool party will need to arrange their own transport.
Makycamp guests
Those of you staying and the shared accomodation with others guests will not need to get the buses as the Makycamp villa is right next to the wedding ceremony villa.

However, for the journeys in to and out of the city of Valencia you will need to arrange either:
- A shared taxi with other guests to the closest tube station (20min) and then get the tube in to the center (APPS for Spanish cabs are called “free now” or “cabify” our version of uber).
- Taxi from Valencia to villa about 30min.
- Your own rental car.
